What's DataPocket?
DataPocket is a memo creation app that allows you to easily adjust text color, size, and other text formatting with a single tap.

You can:
  • Organize and save your memos in a folder hierarchy
  • Attach memos to a calendar for easy management.
The app also features cross-text searching and string manipulation tools.

In addition to text memos, you can manage photos, videos, and web pages in the same folder hierarchy. The app allows you to automatically play videos in sequence within a folder and display images with comments in a tile layout.
The app includes automatic text recognition and extraction from images. It also offers features like auto-scrolling of text memos and the ability to display them on your Apple Watch. Additional features include RSS news feed integration and options to customize button layouts and the startup screen appearance, among many other useful tools.

This app is freeware, meaning it’s free of charge with no in-app purchases. It also does not engage in any external data transmission without explicit user action, and notification features are omitted to avoid being intrusive.

The app has been tested on an earlier OS version (16.4), so it should be widely compatible with older iPhone models.

This app does not engage in any background data transmission to the cloud. Instead, it supports file extraction via iTunes, allowing users to manually back up their data files as needed.

The app also includes an Undo feature to prevent accidental operations and facial recognition for enhanced data privacy, ensuring a security setup including confidentiality management. While you may feel a bit unfamiliar at first, the more you use it, the more you will realize the benefit from a variety of these functions.
